Horsepower Electrical is a three-generation family-owned and operated business that has been serving Northern Utah since 1994.
Our motto is "Building community through individualized service." Our threefold commitment is based on dedication to service, expertise of industry, and uncompromising integrity.
Going back decades, we've done electrical construction for large international organizations such as Pillsbury, Cargill, and Thiokol. We've completed hundreds of projects for local developers like The Boyer Company and general contractors R&O Construction, EK Bailey Construction, and Saunders Construction, to name a few.
Today, there's a growing need for home-based electric services like EV charging and home generators. As the industry continues to evolve, our team of licensed and insured electrical contractors is committed to serving these new and emerging markets.

Testimonials
The Reputation We've Built, One Installation at a Time
"I had Horsepower Electrical install a 240v home charger for me and my wife's Tesla and they did a great job. Our place is a townhome so it wasn't a simple job — they had to run conduit from upstairs through the attic, down through a bedroom closet, into the garage and across the ceiling to the wall. All of it looks clean and professional. They were quick, easy to work with, and the charger works great. Charging at home is a total game changer — saves money and beats driving to a supercharger every time. Highly recommend Horsepower Electrical to any EV owner."
